A novel wearable device may allow patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) to complete some aspects of rehabilitation at home, according to new research presented at the MDS 2022 conference.

The tele-rehabilitation wearable device, which includes a smartphone, and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) on each shoe and on the chest, was specifically designed for use outside of specialized treatment centers.
